Robert Kline, CEO/PRESIDENT/BROKER

Robert has enjoyed over 23 years as a Senior Vice President for a New York City Bank overseeing 33 branch  locations and responsible for Commercial Lending and Business Development. He has been practicing real estate since 1986 and holds a real estate license in New York, Arizona and Costa Rica. His experience covers residential, commercial, business opportunity, construction, property management, and industrial development. Robert served as a director for Arizona Association of REALTORS and The Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS. His company was named the business of the Year by the City of Chandler Arizona in 2005 and he has been featured on the cover of Broker Agent Magazine, Real Estate Today, RIS Media and Entrepreneur Magazine.

His successful managerial background as an owner of a National Real Estate Syndication with 14 offices and 400 associates produced over $1.2 billion in sales representing 4,212 transactions in 2005 that won him the Broker of The Year and ranked his company number seven out of over 7,000 offices worldwide.

Robert holds the following real estate designations and credentials: CIS, CFS, ABR, ABRM, SRES e-pro, GRI, MRI and Broker.


Stefanie Gould, Director of Operations & Sales

Stefanie Marie Gould’s extraordinary success in her fifteen-year career in the gaming, hospitality, and brand development industries is based on bottom line results.  She now takes those same disciplines to the Real Estate industry in both Arizona and Costa Rica, as a licensed realtor, insuring that she over delivers results for every client every time.

Yorlene Vega, Office Manager

Yorlene holds a BA in English from the University of Costa Rica, where she focused on English/Spanish Translation. She moved to the Central Pacific area in 2002 and has dedicated to translating, creative writing, proofreading & editing, meeting minutes taking and reporting. She has also worked for several companies in the area, including Los Sueños Resort and Costa Rica Management Solutions, where she held posts as administrative and legal assistant. She has traveled widely, mostly in Europe, and has spent two and a half years doing voluntary work in Belgium, England and India. Currently she dedicates most of her time to her work and her 2 year-old son. She’s very grateful for the learning and challenging experience of being a mother and continuing to develop herself professionally. Julie Ann Beyer, Executive Sales Associate

Originally from Michigan, Julie Beyer relocated to Jaco over two years ago from Denver, Co. She has over 15 years of medical sales experience with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Bayer Healthcare. She holds a degree in Aviation Technology from Western Michigan University and received a Master´s Degree in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University. She has a passion for travel and loves the hot weather, the beach and perfect sunsets… all of which she gets in Jaco. Adriana Blando, Concierge & Property Management

Costa Rican born, Adriana joined Laguna Azul Real Estate as part of our Elite Vacation Rentals division. Her focus is to be a source of information and assistance to our clients, so they can enjoy quality vacation time during their stay in Jaco. Through her work experience in the hotel industry, she has perfected her organizational, project management and people skills to become the trusted Concierge our clients have gotten to know.

Not only does she assist clients with general arrangements such as airport transfers and tour reservations, but she also coordinates some of the most important and intimate aspects of their vacations, such as engagements, surprises, birthdays, medical services, and so on. Marcus Allen Johnson, Sales Associate

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Marcus Allen Johnson received his Associate's Degree from Grossmont College and a Bachelor's in communications, with a minor in political science, from San Diego State University. 

Beginning his decade-long career in banking as a teller with Downey Savings & Loan, he went onto culminate his financial career as an Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager of Beal Bank San Diego in 2014. 

Marcus's real estate career started at the age of 22 when he purchased his first rental property. In 2011, Marcus earned his state of California real estate license. After two years of traveling the world, Marcus has become enamored with the "Pura Vida" lifestyle and now calls Jaco, Costa Rica home.
